79th Annual Fair – July 26 – August 6, 2023

This years Heritage Exhibit will be located in Heritage Hall (see map below #6) during the fair, displaying the fairground’s history with photos and memorabilia. Click here to get your tickets.

The Fairgrounds Heritage Foundation board members will be available to answer questions and give guided tours. A scavenger hunt encourages young and old to learn more about the fairground’s history. In addition, there will be several multimedia stations walking you through the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds history and a kiosk to sign up for our news letter with an opportunity to win the brand new 2023 lapel pin. Our hours will be:

July 26 Wed 3:00-8:00
July 27 Thurs 3:00-8:00
July 28 Fri 1:00-8:00
July 29 Sat 1:00-8:00
July 30 Sun 1:00-8:00
July 31 Mon closed

August 3 Thurs 3:00-8:00
August 4 Fri 1:00-8:00

If you are unable to visit the Heritage Exhibit, you can still see the 2023 Heritage Exhibit by taking the virtual tour. Items are presented by each decade since the 1940’s. You can see photos of the State House, the installation of the iconic fairgrounds arch, and many other events and activities held at the fairgrounds.

Finally, we have made tremendous progress this year and have found a home to archive and curate all the Fair and Fairgrounds memorabilia we are receiving.  Our next goal is to save and rebuild the California State House to its original form and have a permanent museum.  Join the journey on establishing this showcase museum.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Fair!
