2022 Fair

Did you have a chance to come out to the Fair this year?? The 2022 Santa Clara County Fair was dedicated to livestock and home art exhibits. Unfortunately, they were not able to offer a carnival, any commercial vendors or traditional fair food because the County Health Department continues to use Expo Hall, Pavilion and Parking Lot A to serve the community as the County’s key emergency response center providing COVID 19 related services to thousands of residents daily, including testing, vaccine and booster shots.

We hope you had a chance to visit the competitive exhibits and support our youth who have spent countless hours volunteering and preparing their animals for show and the Jr. Livestock Auction. The Heritage Exhibit was a well visited attraction. It displayed the fairgrounds 75+ year history of the fair, music concerts, racetrack events, carnival, iconic foods, and Miss Santa Clara County pageants. One of the highlights of the Heritage Exhibit was the film ‘Recollections, Memories of the County Fair 1940-1953’. Santa Clara County Pioneers have restored and edited films donated by Jack Rouleau, a longtime supporter, and former President and CEO of the SCC Fair Association. We were very fortunate to be able to add this film to our collection and be able to share with you what our fair looked like in the early years.

If you would like to see the 2022 Heritage Exhibit again, or you couldn’t visit us this year, here is a link to a virtual tour through the exhibit 2022 Fair Heritage Exhibit
